Holden Installations Limited has recently been awarded for two of their Panel Protection Systems products at the 2016 Architecture Expo which was held in the RDS, Dublin last November. These Architects Choice Product Awards were awarded for Holden’s Bollards and Guardrails and PVC Cladding Systems in the category of Best Interior Building Product.

Judging was made by four RIAI Architects, who highly commended both products. This is a major coup for Holden Installations , as the products were launched onto the Irish market earlier this year.

The company has been in business since 1986, servicing the cleanroom and production requirements for the food and pharmaceutical industries. More recently, the company has branched out to offering facility protection solutions suitable for the food industry.

The bollards and bump rails are easy to install, cost effective, and are fully tested to absorb high impacts of up to 9 tonnes. Customers are impressed with their bright yellow colouring which makes them high visibility and the fact that they are easily interchangeable. The items are constructed using solid high density polyurethane core which means no painting is required and the products are 100pc food safe.

The PVC cladding is also impact resistant, hygienic and sanitary registered. What make this product so unique are its tongue and grove connection and secret fix detail. The cladding is available up to 8mm thick and is also suited to the food industry.

In 2016 Holden Installations has installed these award winning products in some of Irelands leading food manufacturing facilities such as Kerry Group, Glanbia, Dawn, Loughnanes of Galway, Oak Park Foods and Golden Vale Group.

Doing our Bit for Charity

Last month the team at Holden Installations Limited together with its sister company Thermo Door Limited suppled and installed a fire escape door for Pieta House, Cork.  As a good will gesture we decided to supply and fit the door as a charitable donation for this worthy cause.

Pieta House tackle issues of suicide and self-harm and rely on the generosity of the public, whose donations and fundraising make up 90% of their income.

We are delighted to be doing our bit for charity and to know that our donation has provided protection and safety for staff at Pieta House and has allowed two people access the service, completely free of charge.
