Scottsdale, AZ, May 1st 2012 : Customers of Massage Envy are accustomed to receiving a soothing, relaxing experience when visiting one of their six northeast Florida locations. In May, that relaxation will come with an added sense of well-being from helping children who are fighting a life-threatening illness.

For the third year in a row, Massage Envy is donating a portion of the proceeds from every massage, facial, retail purchase or gift card purchase in May to Dreams Come True. In the first two years of this program, Massage Envy raised enough to fulfill the dreams of 7 children. “Costs for the dreams vary,” said Sue Kowalewski, Massage Envy’s regional developer. “So we don’t set a specific dollar goal, but we want to help as many kids as possible.” Additional donations toward this year’s total are also being accepted at all Massage Envy locations. In addition, Massage Envy will be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win donated items from local area businesses such as: tickets to the IMAX theater, Cummer Museum, MOSH, Alhambra Dinner Theatre, Jacksonville Suns, and much more. 100% of the raffle tickets sold will be donated to Dreams Come True. “This is just one more way that we can help raise additional money for our 2012 Dreamers. Every bit helps.” said Kowalewski.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Dreams Come True again, and excited about the opportunity to help even more children,” says Kowalewski. “Massage Envy’s focus is helping people achieve optimum wellness, both physically and mentally. So it is very fitting for us to be supporting the dreams of seriously ill children. Fulfilling their dreams can have an incredible effect on the healing process.”

Massage Envy would like to thank everyone that helped with the Dreams Come True efforts during 2011. With your support we were able to send Katie, Tanner, Shantrell, and Cade, along with their families on their Dream experience.
