The researcher even suggests that resveratrol has the potential to stop the entire progression leading to the development of breast cancer.
The findings of the study conducted by Rogan and colleagues were published in the Cancer Prevention Research.
Resveratrol is also an antibiotic substance that is synthesized by plants to protect themselves from the threats of fungus. It is thought that these protective benefits could also be applied to humans.
In a study featured in The FASEB Journal, it was found that resveratrol can inhibit the proliferation of breast cancer cells that are hormone resistant. In the study, the researchers use resveratrol in treating different breast cancer cell lines. It was found that the cells treated with resveratrol had a significant reduction in cell growth.
