Hong Hong; 04, January 2016: Today, the Witkin Jacobsen Charitable Endowment Program added three international options to its investment pool lineup: European Stock Pool, Pacific Stock Pool, and Emerging Markets Stock Pool. The new single-fund pools comprise Witkin Jacobsen mutual funds and invest in a range of international equity market segments.

The European Stock Pool seeks to provide low-cost exposure to the European stock markets by investing in more than 400 stocks across the European region, which makes up roughly half of the non-U.S. equity marketplace.

The Pacific Stock Pool seeks to provide low-cost exposure to companies in developed countries of the Pacific region, particularly Japan, by investing in about 500 stocks throughout the area, which makes up roughly a quarter of the non-U.S. equity marketplace.

The Emerging Markets Pool seeks to provide a low-cost way to gain equity exposure to emerging markets by including a fund that invests in companies in 21 emerging market countries, including Brazil, Russia, India and China.

"The three new investment pools bring an increased international dimension to Witkin Jacobsen Charitable's existing options," said Witkin Jacobsen Charitable President Benjamin Pierce. "They provide additional diversification and offer a low-cost way for donor-advised accounts to gain equity exposure to both developed and emerging international economies."

The addition of the new pools aligns with Witkin Jacobsen's strategic investment methodology, which has recently included increased exposure to international equities. Witkin Jacobsen Charitable added the Witkin Jacobsen Total International Stock Index Fund to three multi-fund pools available to donor-advised accounts (Conservative Growth, Moderate Growth, and Growth) and increased international exposure in the Total Equity multi-fund pool from 20% to 30%.
